In today’s post, we’ll be talking about what happens when you choose self-love over codependency. What does your life actually look like when you choose to believe in your worthiness?
As someone who used to worry about what other people thought all of the time and could not set healthy boundaries, I can tell you that on the other side of this journey is worthiness and certainty. It looks like feeling secure about your relationships and friendships.
I had a very difficult time not trusting my own instincts, my worthiness, or my ability to set a boundary. I would spiral into negative thoughts, or get external validation from others. Now I feel much safer. I’m able to trust my own ability to communicate my needs and feelings, without worrying what others might think.
Being anchored in self love means that you’re coming from a place of care for yourself. I care about what I experience, and I’m going to set boundaries and communicate with others what my needs are. Limiting beliefs are holding you back. But if you can learn it, you can unlearn it.
There is strength in your ability to decide that there is something better out there for you. Confidence comes from a place of belief. Belief that you are worthy. Belief that you deserve good experiences. Belief that you deserve symbiotic relationships. That kind of confidence is unshakable.

Pay off doesn’t come because you’re lucky or special, it comes because you are certain about your worthiness. Worthiness is anchored and rooted in your belief that you deserve good things simply because you exist. The belief that if you exist, you are worthy. That’s self love over codependency.
